Come In Today For A Cash Loan
Q. & A.
Question:
I have never made a loan from a pawn shop, how does it work?
Answer:
You simply bring in any item of value. We will look it over and make you a cash offer. At that time, you decide if the price is satisfactory to you. If so, we will write you a loan for that amount. Your interest will be based upon the amount we loaned you.
Question:
What is the maximum you will loan on an individual pawn ticket?
Answer:
We can loan you as much money as you need; however, we typically loan you up to $1,200 on one pawn ticket. So, if it requires us to loan more than the $1,200 then we will.
Question:
What sort of merchandise do you take in on a loan?
Answer:
Refer to the Buy-Sale-Trade link and a complete list will tell you the many items we take in on a loan.
Question:
How many days do I have before I need to make a payment on the merchandise I pawned?
Answer:
A loan from us is written for 30 days. We also can give you an additional 30 day grace period. You may choose to pay before the one month is up or hold off until your last day of grace-it is your decision. If you choose to wait, your interest will be compounded into a daily fee. If you are not able to redeem your item, you may pay a one month extension.
Question:
What is an extension?
Answer:
An extension is when you come in and pay your interest but for one month only. You may choose to renew instead. (See Q & A below on renewals).
Question:
What is a renewal?
Answer:
When you renew your item, you are paying all of your interest that has accumulated. When you renew in lieu of paying an extension, then you will have another month and a 30 day grace period. This is treated as if you had a new loan starting all over again.
Question:
What if I loose my pawn ticket?
Answer:
Please bring in your ID – anyone properly identifying himself/herself we can look up in our computer system. When you come into renew or redeem your loan, a fee of $1.00 will apply for the lost ticket.
Question:
What if I want to pick up my merchandise and the pawnshop is closed for the day?
Answer:
If the pawnshop is closed on the last day of grace, the time is extended to the close of business on the next business day the pawnshop is open during its regular hours
